VISIT ANTARCTICA
Presenter, Ted Tatarzyn, began his love affair with photography and travel
as a young boy and set a goal, which he has achieved, exploring all 50 states
and 7 continents with his camera in hand. This presentation shows some of
the happiness that he found capturing the beauty of blue icebergs adrift on
an azure sea teaming with life, 8 species of penguins, rare albatross, seals,
whales, and other marine life. We will stop in Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, then
visit the Falkland Islands, remote and pristine South Georgia and the S. Orkney
Islands, as well as examine the splendor of the Antarctic peninsula and adjacent
islands.
A reminder that we are meeting at our new location - please note the map in
center of booklet.

HOW DO NON-MIGRATING BIRDS
MAKE IT THROUGH THE WINTER?
Humans can wear jackets, mittens and hats and turn up the heat in their
homes to make it comfortably through the cold of winter months. But not all
birds fly south for these many winter months. How do our feathered friends
manage to survive the freezing cold, howling winds and constant accumulation
of snow here in Rochester? Join Marcia and Richard Kramer to find out.

Bob and Carol Hinkelman will take you on a tour of this scenic region, also known for its spectacular geological formations, labyrinth of canyons, and the 186-mile-long sparkling azure Lake Powell set in the midst of this red rock desert.
